W Web Site X

4th August 2017

Welcome to our web site. Please look at the Diary page for this years programme and we will be adding photos in the Gallery from our various events. Also, please refer to our News page for announcements regarding fees and other matters that we are unable to add to our Home page. Apologies for any inconvenience.

W New charges from June 2017 X

4th August 2017

In June we introduced new fees for membership and also for hire of equipment by non-members. Fees have not increased for a number of years and with our grant from Bracknell Forest Borough Council being reduced, increases were inevitable. However,we aim to keep the fees at a level that are within reason.Regrettably, when our web site was created, an error has prevented us from updating the home page. We therefore publish the charges here, as follows. Annual membership £30.00. Hire charges: Power scooter £4.00 per day: return to shop before closing time, Manual chair £2.00 per day: return as above, £5.00 overnight, £12.50 per weekend and £20.00 per week

W Our lease is extended to 2026 X

11th November 2016

We are overjoyed to announce that our lease on the Princess Square shop has been extended to 2026.This is an extremely generous provision by the companies behind Bracknell Regeneration Partnership. It ensures that we can continue to provide the community with what has proved to be an essential service, well into the future of the Lexicon development. It is important that there is equal access to the new town centre and this will now certainly be the case for many visitors to Bracknell who have mobility issues. Our thanks go to the Directors and Boards of the companies responsible for this generous decision.

W Queen\'s Award X

22nd December 2014

We were nominated for the Queen\'s Award for Voluntary Service:year 2014/2015 and whilst not the winners,we have received a certificate in recognition of our nomination which is a very worthy achievement in itself.
